The Owners

After a long career developing water playgrounds throughout North America (founders of Waterplay), and as proud parents and now grand-parents. It was time to plan the next phase of our lives. We considered moving ..."downsizing". Problem was; we could not find a better place to go. The property is already in the heart of Kelowna, close to fabulous walking/riding trails, and perfectly suited to our lifestyle. See Map

Whether we decide to ride bikes downtown, horseback ride through the park, run up the road to golf, or enjoy some wine tasting; Hall Road is ideally situated.

Traveling is important to us and the Kelowna International Airport is a short 20-25 minute drive.  

Even though the Okanagan Valley is renowned for long hot summers, world class golf courses and wineries. We originally moved here decades ago for the amazing ski hills. Skiers flock to the nearby hills from all over the world. Our high altitude resorts offer dry abundant snow from December until April. In spring, when lifts begin to close, it's rarely due to a lack of snow. Rather, they can't compete with the start up of golf and gardening in the already blooming valley floor.

Between late February and April, we are often torn. "HMMMM should we work in the yard, go skiing, ride or golf today?"

The Gem at Big White is a mere 50 minutes, while Silver Star is just a little over a 1 hour drive from our door. Heaven!!!
