Acres of park trails to explore. The long driveway is perfect for young guests just learning to ride their bikes, and a one-level layout (no stairs) provides accessibility for the grandparents. Most importantly: Quail's Inn is a place where you can just be together, share a (catered) feast, play outside, and step away from "real life" for a while.

5 private acres located adjacent to Mission Park and its network of city trails, this is one of the best places in Kelowna to watch nature run its yearly course. Crunch fall leaves under your feet, watch snow blanket the valley (and head to the nearby slopes for some of the country's best skiing!) or witness the first buds of spring burst from their branches.
We've created Quail's Inn as a cosy family getaway. This idyllic setting includes hotel-quality linens, towels, and other amenities to create an elegant place to rest, much like your favourite B&B.
We also make sure that Quail's Inn doesn't feel like someone else's home. It's your home for as long as you're here! Nap beside the wood fireplace in the living area. And enjoy the tennis court, pool (in season) and hot tub—they are all yours and not shared with anyone else!
The property is managed by the owners who live onsite in a separate (connected) space within the home.
We live in a space that is under the same roof as Quail's Inn (with our own entrance), and are easy to reach if you need us. Feel free to say hello! Otherwise, we will leave you to enjoy your stay.
Though it feels like the countryside here at Quail's Inn, we are actually right in the heart of Kelowna, making this the perfect town & country escape. From your doorstep, you can walk to shops or stroll across the park to the Midtown shopping mall. Or cycle down the Greenway past golf courses, through horse country, and eventually to Lakeshore Road. The nearest golf course is just 3 klm away, as is the nearest winery. All other major attractions are within 10 klm.
Kelowna is a dream in the colder months! The milder weather at our lower elevation provides a lovely contrast to the mountain's ski slopes, which stay powdery through April—even as flowers bloom down in the valley. Winter Wine Tours are magical, too, with a dusting of snow on the vineyards!
Walking - through the park - to public transit. Park gates close at dark though so a taxi is needed after hours.
By Bike - the property connects with a well developed bike trail network.
By vehicle - Most everything you could ever need, from restaurants, shops, Lakeshore beaches, golf, wineries all within a few short minutes. Airport is roughly 20 minutes away.
We've always maintained a high standard for cleanliness. All bed linens including duvet covers, all towels and bath mats are professionally laundered between guests. We employ a professional cleaning service. All hard surfaces are sanitized and disinfected right down to all floors (no carpets) are steam cleaned at each turn-over. Furthermore, we allow from 29 to 48 hours between stays to ensure guest safety , during these difficult times.
The property can not host events and is not suited for young adult reunions.
Excellent for anyone with mobility issues. No stairs, wide doorways.

Bedrooms are all down one hallway, noting the entire house is one level. There is a queen sofa-bed in the living room (not very comfortable). Most guests with any extra children however usually bring their own floor cots or blowup bed. We also have an infant sized crib. There's enough room in the bedrooms on the floor. We can only comfortably accommodate 8 people over 12 years, up to 10 if children are under 12. Infants are not counted. |
